stellar sedona
so the beautiful Sedona. this town has such a nice feel to it! we had a great time in this town even though it was a super short visit. I predict us coming back in the future so we can do a UFO tour at night as well as experience some of the many vortex’s in Sedona.
just like the rest of our trip, the views were incredible out here. all the red rocks and mountains are breathtaking!
on our journey to Cortez, Colorado, we stopped by a few state parks. those seem to be our favorite places to stop.
first up was devil’s bridge! we didn’t exactly go into the park because it was PACKED. and we didn’t have enough time to do the hike. but the views alone from that area were incredible!
next we stopped at grasshopper point - another state park. it has a beautiful stream and a spot to jump off cliffs. the temperature was too cold to get in the even colder water. it was lovely just to be by the water again. one day, we’ll have a stream of our own in our backyard.
our last stop on the way out was slide rock state park. it wasn’t exactly worth it to go inside because the purpose of the park is to swim! and we weren’t about that at the time.
so the next logical step is to head up north to Cortez, Colorado!
we enjoyed Sedona overall. we got to eat Chipotle for the hundredth time. and we went into a crystal shop too. that was insane, so many crystals!!
to be honest, a lot of this trip is molding together and i’m probably forgetting some of our specific moments or stops. but this trip in general has been unforgettable! we are having the time of our lives. this sense of freedom from the open road is unreal as are the views in front of us. how all this exists on the same planet as somewhere tropical like Maui is amazing. we already have dreams of doing another road trip in the future! thanks for tuning in and reading about our adventures. much love!
