noisy nashville
boy was this city loud! this was my first time to Nashville and there were so many live bands playing music along the strip. it blew my mind, honestly. now, this nightlife isn’t really my scene anymore and same goes for Adam. but it was still really nice to experience and be part of that craziness for one evening. we mainly walked on Broadway down to the river and back. that way you had the full experience of the street in all its glory!
this town was way more populated than New Orleans - to be fair, we were here on a Friday night and when we saw New Orleans it was a Tuesday evening.
for food, we ended up eating some tasty Tikka Masala and fancy ice cream. definitely not the best food I’ve had on this road trip, but it was still delicious. and I’m grateful that we went down there just to see it all. I’ve never seen so many party buses driving around. I wish we had more time so we could go on their trolley ride the next day, but we had plans to meet up with Adam’s cousin for breakfast before hitting the road once again.
we didn’t take too many pictures on this pit stop because it was so hectic and there would’ve been tons of people in every shot. it was more for the experience this time around. and I prefer to take photos of beautiful scenery. most of the beautiful, historic buildings were hard to photograph, unfortunately. maybe next time, we can do the trolley ride and get better shots! the next day, we stopped at another biscuit spot that was delicious. on our way, there was a ton of fog around - that was really cool to witness!
while this was a quick visit, it was still fun to make it a pit stop on the trip! once we left, we were headed for Columbus, Ohio to see some family of mine. things got interesting up there. stay tuned!
