last month of the year

December is here!

Well, it’s been here for a couple weeks now. But this is the most exciting month of the year for me. December is full of birthdays, the holidays, the end of another year, and now my sister’s wedding!

We’ve been spending our time in Virginia in a myriad of ways from being with my family to taking the metro into D.C. The temperature is officially cold and we are making do with all our warm weather clothes from Maui. One of these days, I’ll have some proper winter clothes!

Our D.C. adventures have been thoroughly enjoyable over the past couple weeks. Our first trip was for Adam’s birthday. He had a blast because we went to a museum and ate a piece of pizza bigger than his head! After that, we have been going just about every weekend for a little adventure. We still have yet to see the giant Christmas tree. Hopefully next weekend! But this week is super busy with my sister getting married and I’m turning 30. A lot of excitement for one week!

Just a quick little update for now. I’ll have to pop back on in a couple weeks when things are less busy. We will have loads to talk about! Happy holidays everyone.
